Inspired by the belief that singing to children is singing to people, Lori Henriques writes about real feelings. Her songs about the joys and challenges of growing up appeal to all ages. Her first album of original songs, Outside My Door, has received warm reviews from Zooglobble, Out With The Kids, Parents' Choice, and The Washington Post. Parents' Choice gave it a Gold Award, and both Zooglobble and Absolutely Mindy of Sirius XM's Kids' Place Live included it in their favorite albums of 2011.
