The Biscuit Brothers

The Biscuit Brothers is a half-hour Emmy-award winning family television program produced in Austin, Texas and distributed free to PBS stations around the US. The show uses a mixture of live-action, puppetry, and animation to teach music and cultural communication through music to 3-7 year-olds and their families.

The premise of the show is that Buford and Dusty Biscuit, along with their sister Buttermilk, work on a magical musical farm owned by Old MacDonald. They grow melodies and instruments in gardens tended by Tiny Scarecrow, a puppet friend. Each episode features a musical concept that is defined, then discussed in story, skit, and song.

They have released several CDs, plus DVDs with some episodes of the show, that can be found at http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/TheBiscuitBrothers . The Biscuit Brothers also perform live around the US, most often in the Central Texas area, and frequently for the benefit of other charitable groups.
